October 12, 2026: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), through its Institute of Reservoir Studies (IRS) in Ahmedabad, has hosted two specialised knowledge-exchange programmes for professionals from PetroVietnam, strengthening technical cooperation and the longstanding energy partnership between India and Vietnam.
The programmes focused on Reservoir Management and Production Enhancement and Declaration of Commerciality (DoC) and Field Development Plan (FDP) – Reserve to Revenue. Combining technical discussions, laboratory exposure and field visits, the initiatives provided a platform for professional learning, knowledge sharing and the exchange of expertise in the oil and gas sector.
The programmes also reinforced the continuing association between ONGC, ONGC Videsh Limited and PetroVietnam, creating opportunities for further collaboration, innovation and shared progress in the energy industry.
