Indian Oil & Gas (IOG) was launched as a monthly update way back in April 1994, initially offering subscriptions for overseas companies. Being the first of its kind in India, and that too when the petroleum sector was very much under government control, the magazine picked up circulation among international oil and gas companies, energy research institutes and equity researchers. Later, it became a fortnightly issue. Now, it has an impressive list of subscribers at home as well.
